Narendra Wickremetunge is a multidisciplinary Art Director with more than a decade of experience crafting culturally resonant work across advertising, music & entertainment, healthcare, and emerging technology. His approach blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leading projects from concept through production, while embracing AI as a creative tool to push ideas further.

Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Los Angeles, Narendra's perspective is shaped by the experience of growing up between cultures. Learning English as his second language gave him an early appreciation for storytelling, empathy, and the subtle ways culture influences how people connect with brands and one another.

He began his career as a self-taught freelance designer before expanding into healthcare, where designing under HIPAA regulations taught him that every creative decision carries real human impact. He later transitioned into music & entertainment, creating campaigns and visual experiences for global artists, streaming platforms, and record labels before bringing that multidisciplinary background into advertising.

Today, Narendra leads creative for globally recognized brands including Lexus, McDonald's, Suntory Global Spirits, Covered California, and Nielsen, amongst others, at one of the industry's most awarded multicultural agencies. His work spans television, social, experiential, motion, and emerging AI-powered workflows, always rooted in the belief that the strongest creative doesn't just look beautiful, it reflects the people it's meant to reach.
