For Lunar New Year 2023, we wanted to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit through something unexpected. Instead of relying on traditional holiday storytelling, we brought together the Grant Avenue Follies Glammas and artist Jason Chu for an energetic rap that reimagined the celebration through humor, personality, and unapologetic cultural pride. The result is a vibrant, genre-bending piece that honors Lunar New Year while showcasing the richness, diversity, and evolving spirit of the community.
