Lexus Brand Campaign

Description
The Lexus brand campaign was created to position Lexus as more than an automotive brand. The goal was to showcase Lexus as an experience brand that inspires people to pursue meaningful moments and deeper emotional connections. At its heart, the campaign explored the idea that life is richer when we embrace curiosity, wonder, and adventure, with Lexus serving as the vehicle that helps make those experiences possible.
The first film, Storm, draws from a personal childhood memory of playing in the rain with my two older brothers in Sri Lanka. Rather than seeking shelter, we ran toward the storm, embracing the downpour with joy and wonder. That memory became the emotional foundation of the story. In South Asian culture, rain is often associated with renewal, abundance, and good fortune, and incorporating that symbolism into the narrative made the project especially meaningful.
The second film, Believe, was inspired by classic family road trip adventures and the Japanese principle of Omotenashi, the thoughtful art of anticipating and caring for the needs of others. The story follows devoted parents who embark on an unforgettable journey with their storm-obsessed daughter, traveling in pursuit of a rare and breathtaking weather phenomenon. Through their shared adventure, the film celebrates imagination, family bonds, and the extraordinary experiences that emerge when we follow a sense of wonder.
